Precisely in relation to this issue, the structure of this Summit is singular, since it will start in Spain and end in Portugal.

The President of the Government made these statements during his speech at the closing ceremony of the 33rd meeting of the Economic Forum in Sitges.

Furthermore, he stressed that the Government of Spain continues working to prevent, pursue and punish corruption, and fully supports a proposal for the Upper House of Parliament to coordinate a strategy against cyber-attacks.

23/05/2017 Mariano Rajoy presides over minute of silence for victims of attack in Manchester The President of the Government, Mariano Rajoy, presided over a minute's silence at Moncloa Palace, held as a sign of mourning for the victims of Monday night's attack in Manchester. The event was also attended by the British Ambassador to Spain, Simon Manley, as well as senior officials and other employees at the Presidency of the Government.
