It was there that Mariano Rajoy highlighted the many ties that unite Spain and the United States and recalled the "legacy brimming with originality" left to us by the Argentinean writer.

The military event was also attended by the Minister for Defence, María Dolores de Cospedal, and the Minister for Home Affairs, Juan Ignacio Zoido.
