12/11/2016 Mariano Rajoy claims that Galicia is "a success story of our State model of regions" At the ceremony to swear in Alberto Núñez Feijóo as President of the Regional Government of Galicia, the President of the Government, Mariano Rajoy, underlined that this autonomous region "has everything going for it to be a success story in the 21st Century". Among other things, it is in Spain and in Europe, locations where "democracy, liberty and human rights are entrenched" and where "a welfare model exists".

11/11/2016 Government approves submission to Parliament of Paris Agreement on Climate Change The Council of Ministers also approved the basic organic structure of the different ministerial departments. The Government Spokesperson, Íñigo Méndez de Vigo, announced that the President of the Government, Mariano Rajoy, will receive the social stakeholders on 24 November.
