19/11/2015 President of the Government receives King of Jordan The President of the Government, Mariano Rajoy, met with the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Abdullah II, at Moncloa Palace, who began a two-day working visit to Spain on Friday.

The text contains reflections on the transition to democracy in Spain, foreign policy, the impact of the economic crisis and the efforts to overcome it, and the unity of Spain.

Moreover, he pointed out that the members of the G-20 reaffirmed their commitment to "strong, sustainable and balanced" growth at the meeting.

The government also adopted agreements to foster equal opportunities between men and women and to step up the fight against gender-based violence. To this end, it has set up a protection unit to tackle sexual harassment in the Armed Forces, which will be a body outside of the organic chain of command.
