11/06/2015 Mariano Rajoy pleased by approval of agreements on visa exemption between EU and Colombia and Peru After the 2nd EU-CLACS Summit (Community of Latin American and Caribbean States), the President of the Government said that the objective now is to expand that exemption to citizens from Ecuador.  Furthermore, he reiterated the Government of Spain's wish for Greece to remain in the Euro and defended a global immigration policy.

10/06/2015 Mariano Rajoy announces there will be changes in the government this month The President of the Government, who is attending the 2nd EU-CLACS (Community of Latin American and Caribbean States) Summit, has defended the need to take advantage of the remainder of the Government's term for recovery and job creation. In addition, he said that he would maintain Luis de Guindos as candidate to head up the Eurogroup.

09/06/2015 President of the Government receives President of the Republic of Paraguay The President of the Government, Mariano Rajoy, received the President of the Republic of Paraguay, Horacio Cartes, at Moncloa Palace during his official two-day visit to our country. It is his first official trip to Spain, although he visited our country as President-elect in June 2013.

12/06/2015 Government will appeal to Constitutional Court against Law on Tax Measures in Catalonia The Council of Ministers resolved to appeal various rules under the Law on Tax, Financial and Administrative Measures of Catalonia which lays the foundations for the creation of State structures and thus breaches the division of powers. Moreover, it analysed the future law to improve the social protection of all workers in the maritime-fisheries sector.
